Delicious for my birthday brunch! We loved our whole meal, and I especially enjoyed my crab meat Benedict! Huge pieces of crab in there! They had some cool drinks I didn't get pictures of: taro milk tea and macapuno milkshake! Our server brought a scoop of ice cream with sprinkles for my birthday The space itself has a cool vibe. Kind of industrial mixed with some boho elements. Lots of stuff to look at while you eat, if you like taking pictures with your meal there's a lot of interesting things on the walls.
We came in around 11:00 on a Tuesday. We were greeting by a young boy who was very friendly. We got seated right away. They have qr menus or physical menus. We ordered the pancake trio: s'mores, strawberry and chocolate coconut. All were delicious! And all looked absolutely amazing. Cali omelette came with rice and small side salad. The bacon was crispy on the inside and the avocado was cut into small bites. Egg was cooked perfectly. I also got a macadamia nut latte with soy milk. It was okay. Would recommend and would come back if I was in the area. It's located next to the zippys. Lost of construction going on but there was plenty of parking in the lot. ***I was really in the mood for a short rib loco moco with gravy and rice. Sadly they don't have anything like that here. Even just a regular loco moco would be great.
Best coffee i have had so far in Hawaii! Tiramisu latte say what?? It was amazing Food was good too! I had a green onion pancake it was really good
A cute brunch spot to try out. Upon arrival we did not know that we needed to sign in using the QR code outside (I overlooked the sign) so we went inside thinking they would assist us. It was quite busy (Father's Day) so we were not acknowledged or helped, we waited a while then figured to just go to the takeout side. The take out side was much better, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the cashier. I applaud her customer service and attentiveness. The cashier was so patient and kind, not to mention she knew so much about the menu. We asked so many questions and she made awesome suggestions. Food was amazing, I love their French toast and pork belly omelette. The pork belly was so flavorful!! The only downfall was the price point, but in this economy I understand.
I have been on the hunt for the best brunch spot (specifically for egg benefits) in town out there was egghead cafe is definitely up there for me. Probably due to the small size of the establishment, the wait was quite long for my hangry morning self, once we were able to get seated, we got to deciding and ordering right away. The decoration/ ambiance of the restaurant didn't stand out much to me, some art around but it feels unfinished in other parts. I saw some fooki (taiwanese restaurant in aiea) shirts around so I assume they are connected somehow, especially as the vibes are similar. To the food: - Sweet potato fries: as expected, delicious and the perfect indulgent start to anyone's morning. Unpopular opinion: sweet potato fries are better than plain french fries - Crab Eggs Benedict: One of the best crab benedicts I've had so far, would be amazing if the crab cake was crunchier like some other establishments but other wise everything else was pretty solid. There were two sauces so the sauce amt was PERFECT (peep pic), the red sauce on the bottom also helped add to the flavor profile of the Benedict. It is quite pricey especially with no actual side (the salad is a side though I guess). - Crab Omelette: My partner ordered this and he enjoyed it as well, good amount of crab meat throughout the omelette and pretty delicious according to him. Overall, this was a good experience and I would come back again, it would probably be much less experience if we didn't both order the most expensive dish on the menu LOL.
Oh gosh, this place is amazingly delicious! No wait on an early Saturday morning about 7:30am We ordered the Trio Love Pancakes (Strawberry Short Cake, Tiramisu, and the Macadamia one) my favs in order would be the tiramisu, strawberry shortcake and then lastly the macadamia. Obviously very aesthetically pleasing! And pleasingly delicious! My fiancé ordered the chorizo Benedict and yum! Chef's kiss. Flavors went together perfectly. The Iced Vietnamese Coffee was also Will definitely make it a point to have breakfast here again whenever we come back to Oahu!
I was on the way to the airport but needed something to eat! I didn't feel like Liliha and wanted to try something new, but after driving around, parking being a challenge, I just decided to go to Zippy's. But in the same parking lot, I saw Egghead, and well, parking space right in front, it was a sign! I wasn't paying attention when I walked in. One of the workers told me I could sign in and wait outside. They have a QR code to get on the list, and then just wait. I'm an OG, and like to talk to a host, but they are all very friendly! My server was excited that it was my first time. Inside is very inviting and calming. Lots of locals which is always a good sign! I ordered the pork belly bowl which comes with a fried egg. This was sooooo good! That crispy pork belly really made this dish! I also had to have the Oh-Love French toast because I heard two women talking about it while I was waiting and it sounded and was sooooo good! I also had an iced lavender honey latte. This was a great way to end my trip! Mahloa Egghead!
This is a fantastic breakfast/brunch spot! My wife and I were blown away by the flavors and hospitable service (it's an extra bonus that it's a local spot so it's not flooded with tourists) I got a macadamia nut latte which had an adorable foam bear, and ordered the pork belly Benedict which was delicious and perfect! My wife got the avo toast which also was delicious and had a well balanced flavor profile. All ingredients/produce here seems fresh and it really shows in the dishes taste. Overall I truly can't think of anyway this dining experience could have been better, 10/10 hands down no contest!
Came in on a week day around lunch time. Scan the code to check yourself on the list. It said it was gonna be about 10-15min wait & we waited about 15min. Last time we came here my other half got the pork belly omelette & it was ok, so this time he just wanted to try the PORK BELLY BOWL & the pork was the same. Not too much flavor in to pork & it was a bit chewy & dry.The side of pickled veggies just didn't go well in the bowl so I would give it a 6/10. He also loves to get his French toast so he got the PEANUT BUTTER FRENCH TOAST that's was just tooooo dry. We tried to load it with syrup but it just didn't help at all. I would give that 3/10 very different from a regular French we had the last time. I also get my SMOKY SALMON BENEDICT that I will also love with my salad. 10/10. My daughter got the SMORES PANCAKES that was hands down the best.i give it 10/10.
This place is one of my favorite breakfasts places! I used to get the corn avocado toast but I tried the lilikoi bacon egg sandwich and omg it's out of this world!! The lilikoi dressing they have with it is so good!! Not too sweet like normal lilikoi syrups!! I let my friend have a bit and she mentioned how perfectly toasted the bread was, haha! The coffee they have here is also pretty good as well, my favorite is the Mac nut latte! We came in around 9am and was able to get seated after 10 mins! The service was good and the food, thankfully, came out quickly!!
